INFORMATION ON L-CARNITINE

BETTER SUITED TO SHAKES

L-carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid with antioxidant qualities, involved in energy metabolism and mitochondrial protection. It helps maintain healthy lipid metabolism and acts as a carrier of fatty acids to the mitochondria, where they are converted into energy.

Efficient metabolism ensures adequate energy, promotes good cardiac and neurological health, helps control cholesterol, enhance exercise recovery and may assist the natural process of weight loss.

How it works:

L-carnitine is essential for the transport of fatty acids into the mitochondrial matrix, which is the most efficient pathway to metabolise energy. It facilitates energy availability and is especially important for heart and brain function, muscle movement and body processes requiring high energy.

Metabolic deficiencies in carnitine can manifest as low energy levels and muscular weakness.
